So my acura legend is a 1989. The car is original paint. When i first got it it was probally a pinkish white color. Heavily oxidized. The previouse owner let it sit for 2 years out on the curb never washed the entire time just sitting in the sun.
Today i was bored so was goofing around in the garage. I have a high speed sander that has velcro on it that sticks to the velcro on the back of the sanding disks. I was like hmm i wonder if a microfiber cloth would stick. And it did. So i took some scissors and cut the cloth in a circle so now i turned my sander into a cheap high speed buffer. Very high speed hehe.
Slaped some cheapo rubbing compound and took it to my hood. I did burn the paint slightly do to my inexperince but i took it out with some scratch X. As you can see well this smiley says it all....

Car was never garaged in its life. Goes to show you how good the paint jobs were in the older days.
