I've been thinking about a YARiS panel delivery for some time now. I'm going to do a "bed" floor in bamboo with polished aluminum runners all the way to the drivers seat. Vinyl on the windows and fabric like the headliner on the inside where the window would be. I just thought it would be kind of different you know. Well let's hear from you, and feel free to let me have it.

Toyota doesn't build these, do they? Do you have to convert it yourself?

odd.... not my idea of nice but hey... if its good for you then do it.

why do you need a delivery van/hatch thingy anyways?

If I needed that type of privacy, I'd just get limo tint on the back windows.
To me, that would just look a lot better and is cheaper.

I like the idea. Yaris shag van FTW!

I like it. I think it would look better with the door pillar red though.

I think it would look pretty cool, I dont know about how well you would be able to see though.

That would work really well for me because I have quite a few tools and/or equipment that always end up taking over my back seat, and racks could be put up in back if it was like that.

shouldn't be too bad, i used to have a full size panel van and visibility wasn't bad...how much worse could it be in a tiny Yaris?

Thanks for the input so far. As to why, do I need to do it, no. I,m not worried about visability at all, if I can drive a firetruck the YARiS is a sinch. The main reanson for going this way is to pull off something unique. Like it love it or leave it, it's just an idea right now.

Something just doesn't look right to me. I feel it looks a lot more balanced with the rear windows IMO.

Then again, whatever floats your boat is fine by me. Definitely a unique mod.

If you need privacy at the back, 5% Limo tint would do just fine and cost less.
But Your idea is definitely unique, so go for it if you really like it.

totally cool -- go for it.

1. red door pillar as mentioned
2. larger mini "truck style" rear view mirrors to complete the look.
3. roof racks

I'd buy it. Throw a board on top or trick the hatch to have the glass open and the board out the back :headbang:

I would get rid of the rear passaner windows anyday for that look. dunno about the floor thing. but i love the look without the windows, super clean, to bad there would be welding involved to do it right with sheetmetal or body work to properly mold CF to seamlessly

I love classic panel deliveries and I love the HHR panel (especially the ss) but the Yaris is not the right type of vehicle for it. IMO it will end up more like an early 1990's Dodge Caravan workvan than anything else.

But if you like it, then you should do! (Gonna need a drop and some themed wheels though)

Yep, needs steel wheels color matched with baby moons in the middle. :headbang:

I like how you made the pillar slightly thicker as well. It makes the car actually look longer than it is. I like it and wish I had thought of it, lol

I like it a lot more looking like that. It might not be so practical to lower the car if it's gonna be carrying lots of stuff around though...

Still, I like where this is going
