Does anyone one know if this roll cage is available in the US? Any importers ? I know of the omp bolt in and weld in cage that is available from England I'm just hoping not to have to pay a ton for shipping. Oh I guess a link for the first roll cage would be helpful http://toyota.jp/customize/vitz/trdracing/equipment.html

Looks like a hatch only item so far, but I would KILL to have one, but with importing them and shipping, it might be easier to have one fabbed here in the states.

If you are looking for a cage for looks, then go for it!

If you are looking for a cage to go racing, then get the relevent rule books and have one built to those specs. Rollcage specs are VERY strict, and once a cage is in, they're very difficult (and expensive!) to modify, and one deviation from the relevent rulebooks will render the car unable to compete.

First ask yourself if you can live without your sunvisors.
Roll cages on street cars are a pain in the butt.

I'm mostly wanting a cage for looks and I'm not that concerned with the sun visors. In fact I rarely have any passengers so the issue of convenience doesnt really matter as I dont mind having to swing my leg over a bar to get in or out of the car. Ideally I'd like to get a bolt in solutiion but I'd take weld in if push comes to shove. I've been unable to find the OMP roll cage available in the U.S.

My buddy in Japan can get it for you. I had one in my hands ready to take back to Canada, but then yeah, you can build one to spec and probably cheaper. It was $1200 CDN last year. At that time the dollar was on par with the US.
It's designed for the Vitz cup series which is alot of fun! There are various stages from Auto X to track racing, rally and rally x and hill climb runs etc.
If you just want to have one for fun and looks, it should suffice, but do you really want to pay that kinda dough for looks?

BTW, I have been told it only fits the 5 door Yaris.
I don't know why. Isn't the interior the same dimensions?

^ don't think so. well, overall yes... but the rear door pushes back the cargo area.

Forget the roll cage...I'm more intrested in the Gauges and that mount....Where can we get that?

That is a TRD add-on gauge cluster. It only fits RHD cars, but some people have asked about it to possibly modify.

i was going to have turbo yaris build a cage for my car, except hes moving this month and would make it much more difficult to get my car to him so he could fabricate it. i'm sure he would still do the same for anyother member, as long as u lived somewhere withing the carolinas

If anyone is interested. I have some close friends that fabricate anything and everything.
IF.... there was a drawing CAD etc.. They made my custom trailer for the motorcycles and such that I pull it around with my Yaris! They did a roll cage system for their sons GMC SS truck Was in 3 pieces to install then connected inside. He did the upholstery work around mounts/etc. Seems a bit extrememe but hey.. if its what you want.. Get it!
