Consider yourself lucky , i saw a guy punch his steering wheel ,
about 4 yr's ago when i was working for Toyota .
The car punched back airbag deployed causeing the guy to punch himself in the face .
broke his nose and costed $800.00 to replace airbag

http://www.etimago.com/yaris/repairmanual/SRS.pdf
page RS-309 and RS-310 (page 357-ish of the pdf)
You might wanna read the whole SRS part... I wouldn't want to hit the airbag thinking I'm hitting a clip... be careful man.
Here's the whole manual if you need anything else - http://www.etimago.com/yaris/repairmanual/

Hi. i am new to this forum but i too have the same issue with my Steering pad. I hit it and the horn won't shut up. My question is do i have to replace the steering pad or can i just fix or replace the horn plate?

Here's a thread that shows the detail of the steering pad and horn plate. You can't purchase the pieces individually, but you may be able to just bend the horn plate back into shape.
