I just bought a 5 door (liftback, auto) on saturday, and had to take it in for service by monday because the check engine light came on. they told me that one of the sensors was sticking, although I dont really know what that means. Today I get in the car and the check engine light is on AGAIN. Should I be really worried about this? Is it likely that they just turned the light off and didnt really fix it, or is this a common problem, or is this just going to be a problem car? I dont know whether this just happens or whether I should be giving someone a hard time about this.
Any suggestions?

Bring the car back and get a loaner until they get it fixed properly.

First, make sure your gas cap is on real tight (you should hear it click). If the cap isn't tight enough, the engine light can come on.
Otherwise, what Forest said.

Take it to the dealership. I've been taking mine for a year and the check engine light was on. They never asked me about it cause my car has some mods (intake header, 2"exhaust with 1 cat, 1.8TB, pulley, etc.). One day I asked them to scan the car and it was my Gas Pump (Gas pump malfunction and lines deformity). The warranty covered it. So take it back.

Just stick a piece of duct tape over the light
