Wanting to get a Yaris

Hey,
Well I have made up my mind and want to get a yaris. duh right? hehe well my question is the last time I went to get a car was with my mom when I was a little kid and the sales men kept patting my head. Gross!
I was looking to pick up a new 08 or 09 hatchback 5speed white.
Where is a good place? I would go to different dealers but hate it when the sales men run up to you and you know how it goes.
Also I was looking on the website and didnt notice if the regular yaris (not S) has the power lock, mirror, windows package option?

Welcome! Only Servco can get you the Yaris unless you buy from another island. You can order the non-S models with a power package, but at that price, it's not far from the S models ($16,000~17,000). The 2009 S models are definitely nicer as you can see two owners have them on this board. I think the one you'd like is Tougeghost's car. It may not be as fast or status-symbolic as your S13, but it's a reliable car that's great on gas.

I don't know if you'll have luck finding a yaris for 13k-14k in hawaii anymore. I mean, I got mine (08) at the end of 08 for 12,500 out the door. It would have been 13k, but they were having a 500$ off discount for that month of the year.

BUT, i have the bare bones model. No radio, manual locks/windows, no rear window windshield wiper. All of the models come with A/C.

So yah, they wanted 13k for my bare bones model back then (before my discount) and the price of the yaris has since gone up.

Yeah my 240 has mix match bumper and fenders and mirror and no ac! Drifting? I like to watch it but never thought of trying it.

Yah, no radio. They have a plastic cover where the radio would be.

Get this, mine came with no radio, but had 4 speakers wired and ready to go. So I bought a cd deck and I was good to go.

Im stuck at home, hopping from site to site trying to get a accurate quote to around how much the car I want costs without going down. Thats how much sales men scare me!

"S" includes sport front and back bumper, side skirts, rear spoiler, power windows and locks, rear wiper, 15" alloys, tachometer, Stereo/CD/MP3 with Ipod input and aux input, leather steering wheel and shift knob, fog lamp and color keyed side mirrors.

Go to Toyota City, Mapunapuna and ask for Bob Okada. Tell him a friend sent you and said he would give the best price. Name anybody you like, he sells so many cars he won't remember. Don't buy the add-on's that's what bring up the price from $500 to $1000. I hope he hasn't retired. I know he was working three years ago.:thumbsup:
