FS: Kaminari Bodykit (2dr HB)

So i bought this hoping the body shop could make it fit my 09 but in the end i didn't trust them so this kit was pretty much taken out of the box and then put back in.

I'm gonna start with $500 for the whole kit plus cost of shipping to wherever you are.

I'd really like to get rid of the whole kit but if someone just wants a certain piece then maybe we can work something out. priority goes to those that want the full kit however.

Also i have the carbon fiber lip splitter if anyone is interested. i was thinking of maybe putting it on without the kit but i don't know if that will look kinda goofy so if someone wants to make me an offer on that, go for it. i think kaminari has that thing listed at like $295 so somewhere in that range would be nice.

I also have the carbon fiber splitter on my Kaminari front lip, as you described. Here's a pic.

You know what, I'd be interested. For sure. I kinda like the look of just the plain bumper with a splitter - it definitely hasn't been done before.

well no silly. each piece is more if you buy it separate. kaminari is gonna do you the same way. buy the full kit and it's $595. buy it piece by piece and its $295 each. so i'm not trying to screw anyone. these are essentially brand new.

so i figure $500 for the full kit plus shipping. that's $95 off retail.

or $225 for each piece plus shipping. front, sides, rear. that's $75 off each piece.

i think that's pretty fair but if you wanna make an offer that's fine we can work from there.

for those that PM'ed about weight and shipping costs im sorry i didn't make it out to UPS or anything today. spent all day putting in new struts and lowering springs. bigger pain in the ass than i thought it would be.

for reference, though, to ship the full kit to me w/ splitter it was about $80.

The 15's aren't bad, though. The weight alone is something that attracted me to them. They'll look way better once the springs settle in a month or so. Looking good!

yeah they are super light. not so much as those ssr's but ah well. beggars can't be too choosy. still if i had gotten the 16" i'd also have center caps. though i'm getting used to how it looks sans center cap now.

The 16 's move the revolving mass out further from the hub to rob more hp, on a Yaris you will be happy with a 15 inch rim. If you get a chance to drive a Yaris with a 17 inch rim and then back to a 15 it feels like you got 10 hp back.
On the body kit, if the Canadian dollar was on par I would buy the kit today. Economist say the dollar will be on par this summer so if you still have the kit then I'm in LOL

it's noticeably bumpier that's for sure. but i'm sure i won't notice it so much after a while. anyway it's a lot of fun turning. and looks way better.

Not really. I run DF210's and the Kaminari lip kit with the splitter, I hardly ever scrape. It's also built very flexible at the base, just in case.

what's your average cost of shipping because on kaminari.com the kit is $495 + $150 shipping to me, so if shipping is only $50 it's worth it. However, if it's like $600 shipped people normally feel more secure buying straight from the dealer. Can you give me a price shipped to 10589 :D

i see what your saying but in reality it is priced pretty low. about $100 cheaper than kaminari. i'm not expecting to get what they get for the kit but i'm also not about to be low balled. i'd rather pitch it. i'm selling a s/c kit for about 2000 less than it supposedly goes for from PE so it's not about losing too much money. i can take a loss. but if a $500 body kit is really too steep for anybody than i've obviously got no business trying to sell this at all.

i thought it cost them about $150 to ship. that makes the total cost $650-ish. i could be mistaken. who knows. that's just the number someone recently quoted. and shipping to hawaii is like equal to the cost of the kit itself. so i don't think i'm going that route. anyway i'm not trying to argue here. if no one wants it at that price that's cool. i ain't mad atcha. just not going any lower.

i don't know that i've mentioned a new asking price since saying i might pitch it. i been asking for $545 since i found out kaminari dropped their price. and yes it's unreasonable to throw this away when you could get something but i'm just that stubborn. no joke. i am hopefully gonna be moving soon and there is no way i'm taking this box of junk with me on my move. but i'm not in dire need of money either so i really have no problem holding out for what i think is a fair price. if no one buys it before i move that's cool. but i'm not gonna hang onto it.

having said all that... i think i'm just gonna drive up to dallas this coming weekend with my wife, kids, kaminari kit, and supercharger and have lilredrocket help me with the supercharger in trade for the body kit. that way i'm finally ridding myself of this cursed body kit and also getting the supercharger put on whilst not having lost anymore money in the process besides fuel. plus lilredrocket probably knows more about this car tuning stuff than i do so he can give everyone some accurate feedback on the kit install and performance.

and i feel like an ass having posted two different threads selling things just to turn around and say nevermind but it looks like that's the best deal i'm gonna get when it comes right down to it. sorry.
