You can get Tanabe springs from Jay at C2AUTO or P.M. him at C2AUTOSPL. Dont know about the shipping though. Tanabe states that their springs are fine with the stock shocks and struts. I am sure it will wear a little faster depending on how far you go down, but I would be sure to get the front end aligned or checked after lowering to make sure every thing is ok.

Lowering springs on stock shocks/struts will shorter thier life by the half.

there is no direct amount that the springs will shorten the life of dampers. i would not worry about it too much though, by the time your stock dampers begin to fail there should be plenty of "improvements" on the market to replace them with.

I imagine the stock shocks/struts wouldnt last that long in the first place.

I can't say how long they'll last, but they do get VERY hot after a session at the track running R-compounds ! As mentioned, the Tanabe springs aren't so much stiffer than stock to cause "excessive" stress to the shock/struts... For normal street driving they should last a few years before any major signs of wear.

Talked to Tanabe direct a few times already... their DF210's were designed to use the stock struts/springs, and factory sway bar end links.

Now you can always improve on the factory stuff, and get a much better upgrade, but its not needed.
