Can anyone tell me the part number for the 07-08 manual shifter boot trim ring?

Thanks!

I cant tell if it's part of #1 or #5. But it's gotta be one of those.

...thought I had figured it out.

Well, if nobody here can get it, you can just go to a local collision repair place and they will be able to hook you up with the info I'm sure.

I'm guessing it's 58808 and the shift boot comes attached to the trim ring.

Can anyone verify?

I've got 5880852060 for the boot but don't see the trim ring. It must come as part of the shift
boot or part of the console.

I can tell you it's the same part number even up to 09's. I know cause I'm getting a leather 09 boot and the ring is the same. Try Ken at Sparks!!

toyota parts assist says its part of console......

I have a 09 hatch manual trans. and I don't have a trim ring. The boot goes
straight to the console.

100% CORRECT and explains why the 2009 boot goes on different with a 07/08.....

Everything here says it is a part of the console!

You do have a ring, it's just inside the boot. I've already taken the whole thing apart. The 07-8 have an external trim ring that the boot attaches to, the 09 have an internal ring that still snaps in like the 07-08, the boot material just runs over it.

I want to order the 07-08 trim ring to see if it will fit in the 09 console.

It will!

just out of curiosity, why do you want an external trim ring?

Because it's easier to attach an aftermarket boot to the 07-08 ring. The 09 ring has the material pass between it and the console, so if you use a thick material you can't really pop it back together.

I'd be willing to trade an 09 boot + ring for just an 07-08 ring.

Did anyone ever get an answer as to the OEM part number for the 06-08 trim ring? I'm in the same boat as OP with trying to install a Redline boot with my 09 (internal) trim ring... since the ring has to go inside the boot, rather than around it, the install is much more difficult with the 09 ring, which is why 09 ring is now broken in two and my car has no shift boot.

According to the dealer, the OEM part numbers for this are:
06-08: 58808-52060-B1
09: 58808-52090-BO

The trim ring doesn't seem to be sold on its own, only with the shift boot and the dealer wants about $35. Only problem- they won't let me return it if it turns out to be the wrong part.
