Jdm black. The only black OEM style headlight available is....none. Everyone has to bake their own headlight, spray it themselves, and then reseal it and hope it doesn't leak/fog. If someone was to finally make a black OEM style headlight, I am sure it'd sell a lot. Especially if you had the option to purchase with a projector (single) in there! With a choice of color for the halo ring and option of HID. Oh geez. That'd be a dream come true.

Right now you can purchase retrofit projector headlights that are in OEM style headlights, but they are around the same price as the ones you are selling, or more. However, they dont give you the option of a black housing, just the standard chromeish one.

To sum it up, most people are looking for the style of ONE projector w/ halo ring in a OEM style headlight. None of those LEDS in there either, and not the two projectors in the headlight.

JM Auto Racing
04-15-2009, 01:11 AM
Yes I have looked into this...I am going to definately look into this and possibly create a thread to see what kind of interest I have and to which year Yaris.

On the other hand I forgot to mention HID kits are available in any temp and no additional cost.

I will also be selling LED taillights and OEM fog lights wuth and without HID kits.

PETERPOOP
04-15-2009, 01:16 AM
ps: you might want to compete with prices of this guy... (I believe they dont offer the FREE option of HIDS with their headlights, so you have that on them!)

http://depoautolights.com/headlights-yaris-c-250_251_292.html?osCsid=ec52043b55554b2f79a511230f 8cc54a

They are also the only ones to sell the retrofit projectors I was telling you about...

http://depoautolights.com/headlights-yaris-c-250_251_292.html?osCsid=ec52043b55554b2f79a511230f 8cc54a

http://depoautolights.com/images/yaris1ghd.jpg

http://depoautolights.com/images/y123333.jpg

If you could offer these with a black housing or something like that but CHEAPER, that'd be VERY popular. Also, they have the option to get HIDS and bixenon ( i think thats what its called) to give you the option to have the hi beams used, but both of those options cost extra! In the end, to get those headlights = big bucks!

It'd also be cool to have two options for the each headlight. To either have it come with an orange amber reflector (LEGAL), or a clear reflector (ILLEGAL)!

I know I'm asking a lot, but just trying to help ya out.

JM Auto Racing
04-15-2009, 01:19 AM
yes unfortunately custom work does cost alot... I mean if anyone was interested in bixeon kits i sell them but I understand what you want... I am giong to talk to m production team tomorrow and possibl create a thread about that. I just want to keep this thread online of the CURRENT ones Im selling. BUt please PM with with any suggestions or advice I would really like to hear what peole want

Thanks for posting the pics... Sorry it's less than what you expected and judging from the price and anticipation... it should've been 1000x better.

JM Auto Racing
04-30-2009, 07:03 PM
Wow Creeper this is even a dissapointment to me. First of all the light should not look damaged as it is. That was probably dropped during shipment. Second of all the lights are 100% compatible for HID. The HID sticker has to be placed in order to meet DOT certifications or else I would not be allowed to sell them. If I did not place the stickers, the lights would have to meet all DOT certifications which include metal underlays ( which are found in all factory projectors) Metal underlays are pointless and make the light heavier but they use it in order to reduce the glare. By placing the stickers the lights only have to meet DOT certifcations of Halogen projectors. They are more than our "ebay brand" because the lthe projectors are double layered which allow for succesful HID projection up to 20000k without burning out the projector lenses. Plastic is outsourced to other countires to keep production costs down. Actual projector is made in Detroit.
As far as the "shitty" quality on the shipping I take full responsiblity. My shipping department was in a rush to get them all out and probably damaged the headlight. I will send you an RMA label so you can get the light excahnged out. Again sorry for the complications but

JM Auto Racing
04-30-2009, 07:04 PM

im sorry about being so rude in my earlier post i will edit them after this. I was just upset wich i think is understandable but i shouldnt have been so cross. JM thanks for being a good person about this and the truth is the dmg would have to happen pre-shipment. I will say Packaging was excellent and not dmg to the box. after giving them a good look over after work i did notice that the light pictured the parking light housing is also broke. the left light seems to be fine except the seals on both could be better. With exceptions of the parking light housing and the dmg on the side pictured They do seem to be of a good quality. they aren't quite like the first pic, there's a wedge of silver at the bottom of the first ones, I think it looks better without it...

I don't get whats going on.
First I am under the impression that the Sedan would get these lights.
Next, I find out that no one can post pictures, and that the sedan will not be getting these lights.
Now I find people complaining of no pictures, which honestly, if I sold something, I would provide pictures inside/out.
And what is this about the pictures being from 2 years ago? Whats going on with this now, is all this a joke?
