If I buy a CD player like this one for example:
http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/products/2001/113/h113KDC217-fp.jpg
...where can I put it?According to this image above, could I place it in No. 1, No. 2 or No. 3?Can I choose where will I place it for a simple cd like that?
Another a question...in case I want to place something like that:
http://images.e-shop.gr/images/PER/BIG/PER.659105.jpg
...in which place of these three spots will go?As far as I can imagine the man who will fix it for me will take off the plastic in No. 2 & No. 3 right?Above the ashtray and below the A/C.
Please answer my questions...:iono:

Well looks like noone is answering yet... Im guessing you have the 1st gen. Not Familiar with it.. Your steering wheel freakin rocks btw.. did that come from factory like that o.0.... ok.. For the 1st radio.. Im guessing the best placement would be around 3 with a custom placement. The 2nd Kenwood would most likely take up 2 and 3 also with a custom fit.

ahh... i'm surprised i don't have a picture of my aftermarket radio in my 05.
slygeo87: to fit a double din, you would need a new trim kit (i'm not sure if you can find them in Europe) because your radio is integrated.
I've seen some people installing a single DIN radio in #2, i think it's the best way to do it.
this is my OEM radio

I'm sorry... I do not have the part number handy. It is an OEM toyota part.
try search the forum, CScott posted the part number a while ago..
It looks like the US 2002 echos used a radio similar to our current Yaris radios (20mm wider than standard double DIN).

The part number for the US trim is: 55406-52010-B2
To mount a standard radio, you would also need a kit like the Metra:
Double DIN radio: Metra 95-8202
Single DIN radio: Metra 99-8201
