Damn chris. You're making me and the Frog jealous with the things you're doing to your Yaris. The only thing the Frog has gotten are the Windows tint and an Apple white sticker "eating" the 3rd brake light:P

Very nice Chris! Maybe this will sway my opinion in general about white cars...the possibilities.

P.S. You need to have your bumper holes fixed:laugh:

IMO, the black in the rear matches the flat black plastic hatch popper, and the rear window wiper.

I plan to shave the rear wiper, and the popper soon, so maybe the emblem will go White afterall.

So I imagine youll be welding up the holes and repainting. Post up pics of progress as this is one (or two depending on how you look at it) mods Id like to do.

Chris, why don't you paint the background to white and the emblem to flat black (I mean the lines).. That will match your rear emblem.

WOW, my jaw dropped when I saw the first picture.

What paint did you use? I will be doing this to my Polar White Sedan when I get it in a month or so.

Man, I thought the front emblem would have looked better matching your back emblem, but thats just me.

Regardless your work looks OEM (as always). You're a modder's modder.

Now I gotta go pull the whole front of my car off just to get to that damn emblem, Does anyone know the cost of these I may just break off the old one and replace with a newly painted white one. Going to call dealer now!
Time is of the essence

Thats smart Fred.. break away.

For those looking to be less, "cave-man" like, its simple.. Being as there is a pretty good gap between the emblem concave, and the actual emblem housing (black part is attached to the emblem with double side tape), you can roll up a small wash cloth or towel, and place that between the car and a small long flat head screw driver.. it takes a very low pressure wedge and the top two clips will pop the top half away enough to grab and pry the rest by hand.

Dont be scared.. it removes very easy, nothing gets damaged, and it sure beats trying to fudge your fingers behind the grill.
