Event Start @ 12:00 pm
Event End @ 5:00pm
Judging will be going on all day
Awarding will begin at 4:00pm with pictures with your car and group photos shortly afterwards.
To be elligible for awards you must stay until Awarding.
Entertainment Provided by DJ Shy and DJ Rush
In our efforts to make our guests happy, we want people to have a fair shake at awards. All judging will be held by an impartial committee who are not registered in any category.
Judging will be based on Overall Presentation. Not just how many Mods you may have, but how they all coincide together.
Customizations should be clean, seamless, near perfect.
Understandably event goers will be coming from all over, and will be driving their vehicles.
If a vehicle is registered for show category and has a little bit of dirt, it will not be held against it. Ofcourse if a vehicle is there for show, it should be presentable.

Also, in order to expedite things and make the show run as smoothly as possible, please register in advance! Please send your the following information to me.

and I only say that because Toyota's bring diversity to these shows. It gets boring real fast seeing 20 near stock tC's on the lot. Its unfair to just dead all other cars.

sooo...are us yaris guys invited or not? why is everyone getting bent outta shape here? i work in the most unorganized stress hole of a dealership, so i kinda understand what Andy is feeling with the bullshit politics of a dealership. i spend 60-75 hours a week at my shop, i too would be hesitant to show up to a car show at my job that put my car in the back row... but, as im sure you guys know i dont take these meets too seriously, i just show up to shoot the shit with everyone. and about license plate frames... i dont put any ads on my car that im not getting paid for, that includes dealer frames. but thats just me. damn economy is driving everyone insane...

i left my dealer plates on, because of laziness, and partly cause i really dont wanna put my jdm plate holder on, cause i feel it makes it easier for ppl to steal my plates. but besides that, im with drifto about just meeting up and just bullshit, its fun! hopefully at another date when everyone cools down we will...say...at summer time...ish.

I just want to state this. Originally this program started out as a Scion Marketing event. With Andrew's recommendation and help it has become something much larger, in less than a year. I don't know about other people, and other dealerships, but a lot of people really like our events. And having only been doing this for, what, 5 shows so far? Going on 8 this year? I think things are going well. I think almost everyone has been having fun. In my original posts for this year I put the categories for Trophies. Yes they included Toyotas as well as open categories, in case people come to hang, even though they don't have either. It's great. And I am having additional "Open Categories" just in case. But, again budgeting sucks. Part of the Scion budgeting has gone to everyone. Food, Drinks, gifts. Corporate only gives us so much. But They can only give out based on a "Scion" event. Look, this is a free event. I want people to have fun and walk away with at least a little something from us. I would love to have a great competition. And I look forward to everyone coming.
It's unfortunate that you can't make it, Andy. But, if you change your mind, come on down and hang with us. I think of you as part of the team and a friend.

this is a good point guys, budgeting rules all. honestly were lucky to even have these events to talk about. as it stands, most dealerships are in super cost cutting mode. any type of spending deemed as "unecessary for store operation" is usually cut. to put it one way, any perks that were once offered have long been removed. hell i cant even do sidework anymore b/c its considered to be "stealing business from the store" as i was told by the powers that be. :rolleyes: thats just the tip of the iceberg........
anyways, im happy there is still an event period. ive never been a show queen, so awards and trophies and fancy prizes aren't what lures me in. i like seeing what others are doing to thier rides, and im always impressed when someone comes up with some origional and creative mods. (but that doesn't mean budgeting in some hot scion show girls for the event wouldn't be so bad either):wink::biggrin:
well i hope the meets continue, and i hope to see more of us yaris guys there despite all the sillyness.
i hope the mr2 and corolla guys show up this time too...
