WE NEED MORE MODS!!!

There had to be at least a dozen spam threads started overnight, mostly dealing with 'cheap flights' but by several individuals.

Is there any way to add a few more mods to the mix? Even if they are only able to delete these annoying threads! I report each and every one of them, but the '60 seconds between posts' rule slows that down and honestly there has been so many lately that I give up on reporting them all!

We tend to be worried about off-topic discussions, whereas these spam threads may reflect worse on this site than those topics. I am a firm believer in the freedom of speech, but not when it comes to spam and I would be more than happy to see each and every spammer die a painful and lingering death! :w00t:

and, there's no need to report every single thread by the same user, we can see whn they have multiple ones and clear them all at once.

Thanks, and just to clairify my post was not to complain about the job the current mods are doing. I know you guys are doing your best to keep up with this, and that you have lives outside of this forum; but it just appears that there has been an increase in the amount of spam being posted and adding a few more mods may help combat that!

Just my two cents of being a moderator in the past for a video game forum (Tendonet). Have mods from different parts of the world monitoring the forums, i know we already have you Thomas ;) and a few others? but more in each corner of the world would be one solution to have this place guarded and kept well.

lol its not that you need mods, its that you need more forum addons to prevent it.... Honestly to make a new thread i think you should require to write a captcha phrase. I mean on new threads it will work great, but not on every posting... some food for though!
