I would like to install fog lights on my '09 5-door LB, but need to find all the correct parts.
I've searched and have found different part numbers for each part I need.
Can anyone here who works for Toyota confirm each part number is correct for the '09 5-door LB?
New headlight stalk w/ fog light switch (combination switch):
84140-52151
Fog Light Relay:
90987-02027 ?
or
90987-02012 ?
Fog Light Shroud (Left):
81482-52260 ?
or
81482-52250 ?
Fog Light Shroud (Right):
81482-52330 ?
or
81481-52320 ?

If you want to save some cion talk to Garm at microimage ,
he is now selling his kit's with the correct relay + the wiring to plug into
the relay box under the bonnet.
all you will need then is the stalk , because if i am correct the 08 sedan foglights are the same as the 09 L/B.

I'd still need the fog light shrouds since his kit is specifically for the 06-08 LB. The '09s have changed a little bit. Some wiring is different (ex. tail lights, aux jack, etc.) and the fog light shrouds are different.
That's why I'm asking if anyone who works for Toyota could check for me. I could buy a fog light kit for the lights then get the correct parts from Toyota Parts Cheap.

They appear to be the same shape at a glance with the 08 sedans but when looking into closer detail, I believe they're different.
I can try and check for you if you are able to hold until the end of this week..

So same physical part? Just want to make sure because when I purchased fog light parts for my '07, I got two of the fog light relays for less than $50. At Toyota Parts Cheap, the price for the relay part number you listed is over $60 for just one.
The one I got before at Toyota Parts cheap can be found by going to:

I will be getting some 08' sedan foglight covers from Garm but once I am done setting up the foglight wiring, I don't want to have to put my bumper back on without the correct shrouds. Can/Do the shrouds get popped on after the bumper is installed? Or, can you pop on the shrouds after the bumper is installed? This way....I can do all the work and if the 08' sedan shrouds don't fit, I can get the correct 09' shrouds and just pop them on. Anybody?

Actually, I would be that the only difference between the two is the trim, as I believe the fog wiring is identical on both.

I believe that you can use either the 06-08 (84140-52150) or 09 (84140-52151) versions. TRDsparks sells the 06-08 one for $77. The difference may just be in labeling like the wiper stalk I put on mine. I bought the older version of the Prius wiper stalk and it has text on it, whereas the newer version just has the symbols.

They also have the 09 version (84140-52151) for $92.14. Price difference is $15.20. You're the electrical genius... which switch would you use? The TRDsparks item description for the 52150 says 'combo switch w/ fog lamps' but the 52151 description only says 'SWITCH ASSY HEADLAM' so I'm worried it might not be the right one.

It wasn't difficult to install the fogs. The only part that stressed me out was when I had to pull the ends of the bumper cover outwards so I could place the fog lights into the shrouds.
After that it was as simple as plugging the fog lights into the right pin in the fusebox in the engine bay, plugging the relay in and removing the steering wheel to plug the new stalk in.

Can you expand on exactly what you mean here. I will be doing this for the first time soon and any insight would be very much appreciated. I was under the impression that installing the fogs was as easy as removing the bumper, installing the fogs and popping the covers/shrouds on last. Ofcourse, you have to hook the connectors up too but then just putting the bumper back on and the other stuff and your done. Are you saying that the lights go into the shrouds and then the shrouds go into the bumper openings? Is there a specific sequence to do this? Thanks!

Found a kit on eBay that is made for the 09/10 LBs:

Just purchased a kit after the seller guaranteed that the kit would fit / work w/ my '09 5-door LB.
Now, before I go out and order all the other parts anyone know if the part #s have been updated?
Again, this is for an '09 5-door LB:
New stalk / combo switch w/ fog light switch:
84140-52151
--------------------------------------------------------------
For the Relay, I'm not sure if I need to purchase one. The kit I purchased looks like it comes with one, but anyway I searched ToyotaPartsCheap.com for these part #s:
90987-02027 - I got multiple hits w/ one being listed for the '07 Yaris. The price for the relay is $57.09.
90987-02012 - I didn't get any hits specifically for the Yaris. It was listed for many Toyota models from '07 and earlier and price is only $20.44.
================================================
Finally, on the '09 5-door LB, do you still connect the fog light wires to the same pins in the box in the engine bay (Where the thick red wire is connected)?

No problem with doing it piece by piece. Each of the three is part of a series circuit (so to speak), so until all three are in place it's an open circuit.

Thanks guys. The part of the process I'm actually looking for is removal of the original combination switch and installation of the new one w/ the fog light control.
That's the easy part. Once the wheel is off, there are just two plastic tabs that hold the switch. You release those and pop the connector.

Got the fog light kit yesterday and I'm not happy with it. On my '07 LB, each fog light mounting hole / spot had two slits where the tabs on each fog light would slide into while the other side would be screwed in.
http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/3696/tabst.jpghttp://img191.imageshack.us/img191/7481/screw.jpg
So, the fog lights for the '07 would have two tabs on each side. On my '09 5-door LB, each fog light mounting hole / spot has one slit where a tab on each fog light should go. The fog lights that came with this kit has two tabs on each side just like the ones for the '07 / '08 LB. For them to fit properly, they should have only one tab on each side. The tab on one side would insert into the slit on the mounting hole and the tab on the opposite side would be screwed into the screw hole on the mounting hole. So, once I installed these fog lights there was a noticeable gap b/w the lights and the bumper. Also, the top edge of the fog bezels pop out a little bit so there's a slight gap b/w the top edge of the bezels and the bumper. I already checked and all the tabs are pushed all the way in, securing the bezels. I don't recommend this kit.

I believe the gap is common to all, not just the 2009 and up.

The tiny gap is probably so that the heat from the foglamp glass doesn't melt the bezel plastic..
As for the tiny gap on the top edge of the bezel and the bumper, that's normal. I have genuine '09 bezels and they too leave a tiny gap.

but that junkyard isn't too far from me, and I have a buddy that lives in the
Madison,WI area. I ordered the fog light kit from Garm, and might just put
the switch that comes in the kit for now.
He had the part number listed, so I checked that out. The Prius wiper stalk works on the Yaris, but the headlight stalk does not, as it has different connectors.
STALK: 84140-52151
RELAY: 90080-87026
SHROUD LH: 81482-52260
SHROUD RH: 81481-52330
I want foglights on my 2010 Sedan, and want to confirm these part numbers are also valid for my car.
Oh, and is there an OEM toyota part number for the foglight wiring harness? I assume that with the new foglight stalk, there is no need for an interior wiring harness.

Ifyou get the latest kit from Micro Image (a sponsor of this site )
everything is in the kit apart from the OEM Stalk
which is not required , and the whole kit is nplug and play
thanks... kit price is excellent for the wires and covers, but I like the oem stalk (its only $90 online!) and my own lights (visionx solstice LEDs).

Just installed my fog light kit and i just noticed gaps like that. Do i need to order the original toyota bezel? Very disapointed. Help!
I don't remember there being gaps like this on my '07 LB. Here are some quick pics. I took:

My genuine Toyota ones fit properly around the outside, but have the same gap around the lens (which may be intentional to avoid melting the plastic).

Read above in the thread for the part numbers. They are about $26 each from your local dealer.

I got the MI kit for my '09 and had them professionally installed. There is the slight gap right above the fog light bezel on each light.
