I draw a little animated sketch in Photoshop.
It's all in proportions.
Drop is 3cm (about 1.2inch).
Tires are widened from 205/45 to 225/45.
Is it possible?
And remember, TS steering wheel lock-to-lock is little less then 2,3 rotations, and that is much less than 2,8 if i remember correctly in standard Yaris.
I'm praying for no rubbing with this setup :bow:

You are going to have a hard time fiting the 225 tire on the OE wheel. Is not worth it unless you change for some 7-7.5" rims as you won't be using the full contact area of the tire... and is too tall... you will have some rubbing in the fron on the plastic innner fenders. But is not that bad

The OE wheel is 6.5" width.

I was using 215-45 tires and now I'm using 215-40 tires and I think that is a wide as you can go with the OE wheels...

I'm lowered on tein coilovers... about 4cm lowered. The rub I have is only over heavy bumps. On the front only. the rear will be ok. I'm even running some 15cm spacers on the back wheels.

I would say go for 215/40 tires... that is a nice upgrade. The OE yoko's are really bad.
You really don't need more tire than that on the Yaris.

Will that extra 1cm do any difference if 215/40 is fitted on OE wheel?

Maybe it's the best to go 205/40 + 15mm spacers in the back, about the same as you have, and put Bridgestone Potenza A 050. Will that be ok?

How will that spacers effect handling?

if it means anything at all i am running 7 wide with a 15 offset and im not rubbing with tein 1.9 drop all around

Sure you can that... with such a gripy tire as the POtenza you won't missed that extra 1cm. How ever if the price diff is not much between the 205/40 and the 215/40 I would advise you go the the 215 tire.

The spacers do so much for the car in terms of the look!

When you lower the car, the hi offset of the OE wheels make them look way too much inside the fenders.

I'm using H&R 15mm spacers on the back. And I want to add 10mm spacers in the front.

Hm, I just got curious, are Potenzas good enough for the price?
How about Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric or Michelin Pilot Sport PS2?

As I can see, Potenza is great, but the tirewear is to much for me.

I need good summer tire for nice launch when light goes green :)
But then again, spring/autumn has a lot of rain here and I really want a tire that will have good handling and braking on wet road.
