Spring wrap?

The stuff you wrap the bottom of your springs to stop creaking and noise, do you absolutly need that? I dont seem to have any in my set of DF210's. And I searched, couldnt find anything.

i didn't have to wrap mine because some wrap came already on the springs. did yours not come with any black wrap stuff on the lower coils. i just figured this was something new they were doing so people didn't have to do that part themselves. cause i didn't get anything else in the box other than the springs.

It came with plastic on it but not the softer stuff. :iono:
