I picked up a set of bronze Konig Runaway's (I know knockoff wheels suck haha) from JLB Motorsports. I'm going to put them on the Yaris in the next couple of days, but I'm still debating which lowering springs to get (TRD or Eibach???) and if I should get new tires. I think these wheels look 100x better than the wheels I have now. Here's a pic of my Yaris with my current wheels.

No worries, I was just razzin' the OP. However you do have Rotas which are copies of a MUGEN wheel.

My current wheels are gloss black Konig Renegades 15x6.5 38mm offset (Advan RGII knock offs.) I might have a local buyer for $175 for the wheels only, but I still need the stock tires until I figure out what tire I'm going to run. If that falls through I'll post a for sale ad here for $175 plus shippping. BTW, My wife barely curbed one of the wheels, its really small though and not very noticeable.

I'm really into that simple 6-spoke design (one of my favorites), but I still think the new set will look badass.

HAHA, I'm going to run them without centercaps too!!!! As much as I would like to have the real RE30's, I can't see spending that much on wheels for my pretty much stock Yaris.

I'm about to get tires tomorrow, either Nitto Neo Gens 205-50-15 or Falken 912 195-60-15. The Falkens are $176 for 4, and the Nittos are $245 per set.
Which ones should I get???

195 60 15 is really tall..

and 205 50 is short.

why not 205 55 ?

You mention in post #1 that you're going to lower. Decide which springs and then choose a tyre size. Remember, size will also depend on the wheel offset.

With the Nitto 205-50's would the .83 smaller diameter be a problem? I'm going to lower it pretty soon. I didn't even notice Falken had a 205 55 :iono:

I'm pretty much between TRD and Eibach since they are the mildest drop. My wheels are +38

.83 shorter... is quite a bit IMO. it'll look silly, and throw off your speedo.

but lots of people do it, so i'm not gonna comment further.

The 205-55 does seem like it would be the ideal size, thanks for pointing it out to my blind a$$

np

and for reference, a 195 55 15 on a 15X7 +30 with DF210 drop only rubbed slightly on the fender liners on a yaris.

ET38, dropped on TRD's, I'd install 195/55/15's.

What size did you end up going with? Any difference in the way they drive from your old wheel/tire setup?

15"x6.5" +38 with 195/55/15 Falken 502's

The tires don't squeal like crazy like the stock ones did lol. My suspension is still all stock so I don't go too crazy in the turns.

i assume they are 7" wide? you should get at least a 10 mm spacer in the front and the 10 or 13 mm pg spacers then... they would sit nearly flush then. we have found that the limit is about 15x7 +25, or 15x7.5 +32.

i had a 15x7 +25 with no rub even with people in the car. but i had the camber shim, good for about 1* of camber. is this from real enths car? before spacers?
