Me, in kalispell montana. Been waiting two years. The closer the time gets to getting my yaris the harder it is to wait. I'm guessing now sometime in April. I've phoned about every dealer in the northwest. And none of them have a clue when the yaris will be available. Glad to hear our canadian friends have some arriving. Hope thats a good sign.

I am hoping one of the boats going to canada just happens to go to a dock in the us. I am so freaking ready for this car to get here.

I'm here in michigan just waiting and wondering. Sounds like toyota thinks they got a real winner here and don't plan on dealing. we'll see.
I'm in Mass. I am patient, lol.

why doesnt it just come out already, I mean come on. We get the most watered down version of it and we get it last. Did they have to take the extra time to make our version suck ass?

I've already got a trip planned the minute I get mine. Gonna drive down the pacific coast highway to go down to san diego to see my brother. I've been holding off on taking any trips for a while because of gas prices and only getting 20 miles to the gallon with my tacoma.

NW Washington here. When the new Vitz came out Feb of last year, the hope was that it would replace the xA. Now we see that we can't even configure the Yaris to match the xA (essentially the Yaris RS), it's that much more dissapointing.
After checking one out in Vancouver, I'm hoping to find a used 5-door RS over the border sometime. (You listening echo_hrs?)

I live in Georgia in a town called Dallas which is 35 miles west of Atlanta.
I am ready to retire my 1991 Acura Legend with 240k that gets <20miles/gal. My wife's '04 4Runner gets better gas than the Legend at approx. 22 miles/gal.
I have been reading the posts on here and noticed most of the members are just like me.

Just picked up my 4 door yesterday morning, and i picked the four doors for these reasons.
1. i don't have to move the seat foward when people wanna get into the back.
2. when folding the back see to the flat cargo position, i can open the back doors and arrange stuff easier.
3. personally, i just liked the look of the 4 door better

More practicle
Cleaner lines from original design
More JDM aftermarket stuff
Personally, I wanted a five-door, but not the xA's stale interior design, and shitty gearing.

on the yaris chat thing a guy named reggie said the yaris should be out on the week of march 20th. Next week. Other folks ought to try out the chat thing to see if he says the same thing to you. Its on the main yaris toyota website. Under "yaris chat".

Virginia here fidgeting waiting hearing lots of odd noises on my 1999 Saturn
im from Los Angeles, CA trying to purchase a Yaris LB manual, i just emailed my dealer and asked if they have the model i want. all i can do is wait. maybe later on today might go to dealer to do some test drive. =)
Good luck mao! Please tell more about your test drives later. The Yaris is likely to be in great demand because of its fuel economy and other virtues. If you can find one that you really like, do not hesitate too much.
