Hey Yall,

I just drove down to the river to take some shots of my '09 LB

Just did the tint and TRD springs today...

I pull up to the spot and there is this futuristic cop car in the middle of a photo shoot. (carbonmotors.com) They were kind enough to indulge me and they even took some shots with the Yaris as well.

Thought I'd share!

Its in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

The car is from some big brother start-up...

"Carbon Motors Corporation is a bold, new homeland
security company on a critical mission to design, develop,
manufacture, distribute, service, and recycle at end-of-life,
the world’s first purpose-built police car."

From what I've seen the cop car really is going to be an awesome thing. Just on the rear seat belts being reversed from normal and the front seating area having special cutouts to let a fully-loaded belt not get snagged on anything but still be comfy for 8 hours, that thing's going to sell to a lot of law enforcement agencies. Especially since they're saying it'll cost the same as a Crown Vic since those need to be kitted out to the tune of $12k extra on top of the Police Interceptor Package price from Ford.

I wish... purchase price includes them taking the car back when it's deemed End-of-Life by the agency that buys it. No civvy version is kinda the point of this, give cops a dedicated platform for actual patrol vehicles that nobody else can get their mitts on.
