THe part of the FnF movie was truly true. FnF1 ruined street drag after it came out.

Insurance also sky rocketed after that movie, lots of crashes happened after 2 weeks from that movie. . .bummer lol

^I know. Kinda embarrassed to say it, but I'm guilty as charged too. In my former ricer days I bought a '95 Eclipse GS-T a few weeks after the movie came out, coincidentally almost in the same exact color as the movie version. Insurance was so high because of my age and car model I only bought liability. After 3K in sleeper mods and 6 months later it gets totaled, ironically not from racing, but from falling asleep on the fwy at 2 AM. My short-lived ricer days ended with that car and had to bus it for 2.5 years. ..It was so stupid back then, but kinda funny now...
