Be sure to get the right one, my Peach State friend!

The auto is an M8x1.25 shaft, which is quite a bit harder to find as it is smaller than the manual, which is M12x1.25.

I like the shape of this one and the TRD badge on the side.

Another thing is you can go to your local hardware store and by a spacer to go from 12mm to 8 mm!

i think it would be rad if it was more like a baseball. Like white and red that would be hot. and you could get a matching stearing wheel......and make your seat into a baseball mit.... ok enuf of me ranting lol. but i still say white with red is a rad idea.

Actually, I drilled out a baseball and tapped threads into it to see how it would work as a shift knob (I had done a golf ball previously (http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14351)).

It turned out pretty cool but was just a tad too big to be a shifter. The golf balls were a tad too small, and I ended up with an OBX speed star shift knob on it which was "just right!" (Sounds a bit like a Goldilocks and the Three Bears story, doesn't it?!? :w00t:)

Cheers! M2

Hey, eTiMaGo,
Do you happen to know a source for that shift knob? I've looked all over the net and can't find it. The manual knobs are common, but that one seems to be quite scarce.

Thanks

As Tim stated, you can always use a manual shift knob, all you need is the spacer to go from 12mm to 8 mm...

Mine is like this, and you would never know the difference.

Cheers! M2

I've looked high and low for that perforated leather one since eTiMago posted the pic. That's the only perf one I've seen.
