even though claims does not fit Yaris I seem to find that pretty much no radios claim to fit Yaris and if it's like other cars I have had just means that it will not look pretty but will fit with installation kit.

Any single-din or double-din unit will fit as long as you have the correct dash kit for the Yaris. Metra, Scosche and American International all make dash kits for the Yaris.

Do you have to buy it at Best Buy?

Do you want one with a rear USB input or front USB input. Front inputs make it easy. They're just there. Rear USB inputs are cleaner since you can route the USB cable to a glove box or wherever you want that's w/in the USB cable's reach.

Check out SonicElectronix and Crutchfield.

I had a DUAL head unit in my Miata for two years. It worked fine, no complaints, especially when you factor in how cheap it is.

I have a Dual from my old car that is about to go into the Yaris. It works fine.

If you don't mind routing usb cable, get a HU with a rear port. The front port will make for easy plug and play.

I suggest Clarion....I've been in car stereo for 6 years. it's one of the cheaper CD units that work REALLY REALLY WELL. Only thing though it doesn't have much control of the audio on the head unit itself. You gotta do most of the adjustment on the AMP side to tune it. Got my Clarion Head Unit for like 200 bucks......DVD touch Screen might I add. Only beef is it's only 6.5 inch screen compared to most that are 7inch now

ended up with a kenwood it's nice did not cost to much and does what I want. only problem is that after install none of the lights work for hvac or speedo and so far no fuse are bad.

If you want USB input, why not buy a FM transmitter such as this:

walmart has one for like 75 bux.

i prefer kenwood though, and they're nice. a little over 100, for a base model with SD card slots, usb, mp3 and cd. the display can change color from red, green and blue so you have options.

jvc has one as well with just the usb on the face. the kenwood's usb is on the face but the sd slots are in with the cd slot.
