So my back seats and spare is out and im left with bare metal. Painting it gloss black today instead of dull silver, will match my shift knob. Opinions? In class thats why this is short andd choppy talking:frown:

Only way to know is to see. Sounds easy enough and should turn out great. Keep us posted.

Do what I did, cut out some black carpeting and cover it up. Painting inside the car would be a HUGE pain. You'd get overspray everywhere unless you put plastic/tape on absolutely everything.

i sprayed the interior of my car, no overspray issues. flat black, to cut down on glare. worked great, helped lower distracting light flashes during autocross.

+1, actually the part number would be cool, if it's an overseas Toyota part I can get some.

Could you undercoat interior paneling or will it give off fumes when hot?

IIRC the flat floor conversion is a courier style, with a big metal bed that bolts where the rear seats go as well as above the spare replacing the plastics. Looks to be too heavy IMO.
