I installed power windows, and getting power from cig lighter was a terrible idea, my neons fade when i use close/ open windows, i need a pic to show me where i can get constant power from, or even ignition power.

courtesy CTScott... where the red wire is coming from is a 12v constant. it's located behind the sunglasses case on the left side of the steering wheel

hmm. electric talk isn't my forte, but maybe you can add-a-fuse in the box and run it through? maybe someone else can be a little more specific as to the size fuse you'd want if you do do that..

Check for a fuse that's not in use. You should be able to wire it to the fuse (panel under the hood is best option). The last resort is to look for a wire that splices off from the main battery terminal. As long as it isn't the heavy gauge wire coming off the battery you'll be fine to connect it to that. I installed off road lights this way. Anything other than connecting it directly to the battery terminal is fine as you don't want to push too much power through a small gauge wire should a fault occur, or you'll have a nice toasty Yaris....

I'd suggest using Pin 2 or Pin 11, of connector 4H. It is a 30A fused feed which feeds the power windows on a car with power windows. On my 09 there is a blue wire in 2 and a a grey wire in 11.

you need to get a voltage stabilizer. that would eliminate the drain in power you get when you open/close your windows or use any other feature with electric power. i have have one on my car for over 300,000 miles and i have HID's in my headlights and fog lights and a small amp in my trunk and i don't get a dip on my power when i use any other electric power.

Same spot, different angle. This is from when I installed my rechargeable flashlight. I had to attach a 2 amp fuse.
