Mine is the Yaris RS grade for Canada, with lowering springs...

I'm planning to either import a factory front spoiler from Australia, or the JDM Vitz RS front bumper...

The offset is F:+42 R:+37.
It is necessary to note it for the installation.
The reception desk comes in contact with the inner liner when the steering wheel is turned.
However, contact can be avoided by warming and processing the inner liner.

Rear comes in contact with the fender by the individual difference of the vehicle.
Because only the right side came in contact, my vehicle processes the fender a little.

The widest wheel in the data that I have is 18inch 9.0J 215/40-18 offset F&R+48.

A lot of problems seem not to be functional though there is putting 19inch in Vitzliste Member.

The 18's look awesome, but they are 2 inches in diameter bigger than stock. This is like installing higher gears in the diff. which robs performance. If you wonder why she doesn't fell as peppy any more, that's why. But hey, it is hard to beat the look.

^^ you are keeping the same drive ratio if you get the correct height on tires. He is running a "40" profile tire to offset the increased wheel size

dealership told me that if you keep the same height on the wheel, then it won't void the warrenty, it only void if your wheel is larger then the stock wheel. I was going to go with 18, but we have to many pot holes in calgary, i'm gonna stick with some 17 so not to sacrifice on the tire.

Find a tire size calculator on the net, put in your stock size and an 18" size with a 40 profile and see the difference.

kenbow is running a 205 tire on a 7.5 width wheel.

think about how much that tire is stretching on that wheel and why the 40 profile is needed.

Sorry, I thought he had 215's. The stock 175/65/14 is 23 inches in diameter, the 205/40/18 is 24 inches, an inch bigger in diameter, still slows you down. Some folks are looking for the lightest wheels possible, but if the diameter is larger, buddy beside you in the Yaris with smaller wheels is going to win!

haha i'm not planning to race my yaris when i get it.

it's going to be a cruiser car. i think most ppl in japan are the same way.

i want 18's with the biggest fattest dish i can get in the back ;)

It is because the reason that I chose 18inch 205/40-18 is appearance esteem :w00t:
In the case that I choose a functional thing 17inch 205/40-17 Best Match
Because Compressor of BLITZ is fixed at the later time outside diameter is not a problem :wink:
If even the offset thinks 215/35-18 are Best to 18inch
I do not exist that I felt inconvenience by making 18inch

woah, those rims are huge! that fender must be totally shaved. i'm loving how tucked the back wheel is. so low that it's not practical for daily driving. roads and driveways are rough here in the US :)

do japanese people usually get the five door yaris? i don't see many three door's on vitz member's pages

i'm thinking of getting some F:8x7.5 +42 and R:18x8 +40 when i get my yaris

No 3 door Vitz available in japan as far as i know ........ those 18s dont appear to be tucking under the guard at all? Dont look overly low either? :(

In theory that is right, but if the wheels are lighter than stock then you have less unsprung weight and you keep or better the acceleration. I'm interested to know if you'd even feel the difference.

Supposedly the farther out the weight gets, the more "heavier" it seems, that is, the more effort it takes the engine to turn the wheels.

I am prolly going to get 14" wheels with my Yaris, because they are the lightest and the smallest.

To our regret, 3DrVitz is not sold to Japan.
The wheel will be chosen by the purpose and the usage.

The same size tire is different the absolute size because of the manufacturer.

The tire computer is not reliable.

The tire is pulled to 7.5J a little in my size of the wheel though it grows by one inch on the calculation because the tire of 205.

Is the pull of the tire understood?

For instance, the case where 205/50-15 tires are installed in the wheel of 15 inch 8J is said. (An extreme size is shown for the explanation. )
