Well a guy on craigslist is selling konig helium wheels and tires with "80% tread" for $600 OBO. I'm gonna e-mail him a lower price...around 450-500 as researching these wheels are around $115 new.

Not a bad price. I'd talk him down a little.
I just got a set of new 15" Heliums + Falken RT-615s for under 700 shipped.

I agree, offer $350, pay $400 at the most. Otherwise I'd wait for another set.

I'd offer $300 ($75 per corner). That's the maximum I'd pay for them.

I paid $250 for new in box Heliums. The pricing on them is really, really competitive.
I agree with the others. $400 TOPS.

Thanks everyone. Also, what do you think of that color/those rims on a flint mica sedan. I searched the forum last night before posting the thread and a lot of people don't think bronze wheels look good on flint mica car. I was gonna get black wheels or silver/gunmetal but have had no luck on craigslist. These are the first I've found that are decent.

Here's another set WITH tires, but this guy is asking $500 and says "firm on price" so I don't see getting lower on these.....

I literally just LOLed.
I mean, they aren't bad. $500 is kind of pricey. Make sure they have lots of tread.

But if he buys Heliums they'll break.
Like I said, I'd buy 'em. Tamago wouldn't, but Tamago is an elitest. He gets pissed at the grocery store when they don't carry JDM cereal.

I haven't really seen many flint mica yaris' with bronze wheels so I can't say. Also, those black wheels are super heavy, what about the first post wheels? I've been looking all over different (surrounding) citys craigslist and have really only came across those two sets.

First off, bronze on FM Sedans looks awesome.
Second, patience is a virtue that may result in you getting better wheels.

I guess if need be, I could always paint those wheels in the original post if I felt bronze didn't look good. I guess I should first see if this guy is willing to go as low as 350-400.

Right, I've been browsing for about 2-3 weeks. I'd just like to get a pair so I actually use them since i'll most likely swap steelies out when winter comes around.

Dang you, haha. I'm trying to find a wheel and tire combo so I don't have to get tires, mounting, etc etc.

Hmm, I'm gonna e-mail this guy 350 to see what he says. I doubt he's gonna go from 600 to 350 but who knows.

If anyone reading this thread finds a good deal on bronze or black wheels/tire combos for under $400 bucks, I'd greatly appreciate a pm or a post in this thread. Thanks greatly.

if your entire goal is to not spend money, pick the one YOU like.
remember, your next set of tires are going to cost more than the wheels.. so why not get good wheels to begin with (and no, i'm not talking about $400 volks)

My goal isn't to not spend money, but some of us are on a budget. I want something better than steelies. There's never gonna be a time when I'm gonna be able to spend 1,000 bucks on wheels and tires so that's why I stated I'm on a budget. I use my car as a daily driver so I feel no reason to get $800 wheels or $600 tires.

i agree with you, and by "no money" i meant what you're looking to spend now.
a reputable wheel/tire combo (NEW) won't run over $800. so yes, that's more than you want to spend, but keep in mind, almost HALF of that is going toward tires (which is an expendable item) so it'd be a good idea to get a good wheel that will last (and you'll like) through another set of reputable tires.

or 4 of these http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda-Performance-Part/61-030023.html
plus tires.

I guess I'll have to just keep on searching. I'm in college now so I only work part time and it's draining the money out of me. Plus with the economy I don't want to blow too much of my savings on wheels/tires so that's why I'm on a budget. I'll keep searching but if anyone finds or plans to sell their wheels/tires, pm me.

That's what I was going to recommend, or Scionlife (lol) for your area for some decent deals.
