dang, that makes sense actually, with all the other american cars in the movie. does the beat run off the same chasis platform as yaris or scion, practically looks like a ripoff aside from the body panels.

Damn transformers movies are ads for GM cars any ways...

GM owns a little too much of this franchise. It's too bad when movies have to become full blown obvious ads. And isn't GM running on the taxpayers dime?

That said, Transformers rule!!! :w00t:

Yeah... GM just asked for several billions of dollars, but they can afford to sponsor a movie to get their cars in their? My cousin lives in Michigan, and works for GM, and he could possibly lose his job (he is a manager in some high department) because they can't afford to keep him on, but they can spend the money to sponsor their vehicles in movies, and boost their adds by 15%, and give "employee pricing" to EVERYONE... why did we give them money again?

But yeah, transformers rule.

The Transformers movie is the only thing keeping GM afloat.

In all fairness, I think they sponsored these movies BEFORE the meltdown. I still think they're idiots though.

The whole Camero issue. I think the first movie was the to get the people all pumped up to buy the car by the time the second movie came out. Now with compact cars being the rave, that green POS.....err....I mean "CONCEPT" car is going to be the carrot that GM is going to dangle over its customers for the....wait for it......THIRD movie.

I don't really like the looks of the Beat... Looks like they squished an older Vitz, making it too narrow and crinkling the hood. It also looks like a big hotwheels car the way it's painted...

The yar does not get to be in moves as good as Transformers. We just movies like this

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1032815/

Watch the trailer. I think the movie might have been shot in Canada cause we never got the old style Yaris in a hatch.

We all know that Michael Bay thinks GM is good and that Ford is evil.

Unfortunately it will be like all the other movies these days. Too many trailers so that you'll question whether to part with $10 a seat or wait until its on DVD for $4.99 a rent. Wait long enough and watch it on Hulu for Free.
