I just signed up under great peer pressure. I'm not sure I'll keep it but for now you can find me under my Twitter name of joyride77.

I just can't understand why people need to constantly inform everyone what they're doing each moment of the day. I guess it's just me, but I feel I have more important things to do than tell someone that I'm currently doing my laundry.
:iono:
And we have our own "twitter" here on YarisWorld with almost 21,000 posts.
I guess the concept draws a lot of people.

I just signed up because a friend asked me to join. I think it's retarded, personally. Between email, myspace, facebook and now twitter...it's all a bit of overkill.
What kills me, though, is all the celebrities that are on there. Don't they always cry for more privacy and there they are, posting about what they do every minute of the day...what? Really?

yup, and I can't figure out what it does that email/cell phone/myspace/facebook/xanga doesn't??
My guess is people will get bored with it and forget about it by next year.

+1 to your first comment.
As for your second comment, it's not like any celebrities actually sit down and type what they are doing on Twitter, they have people who are paid to it for them to generate hype. It's pretty ridiculous what "celebrities" will do to gain or maintain popularity.

It's also interesting how little privacy we actually require now a days. Just wait a few years until everyone has fifty plus ways of communicating every detail of their lives to the general public.

I have multiple accounts haha
I think I started in 2007, never followed anyone though..
just updated my friends from far away how i was doing since it was cheaper to do it this way than text them individually for 25cents (Trust me, it adds up!)
