I was posting on YW when it hit. I thought "dammit, I need to finish this post. This had better not be the big one cause I've typed too much to abandon it."

I've got my priorities all screwed up.

Nah... your misery lasts for months on end and you know it's coming every year.

For us, it's total surprise right before we're wiped out.

^It's kinda like when you were little and your mom would shake you and the bed in the morning to wake-up, ..except now she's shaking the whole house...

Anymore I don't even bother to get out of my chair if it isn't over a 5.0 and close to me.

I've been in tornados and earthquakes, and I'll take earthquakes anytime

If you had come to Torrance, you would not have felt the earthquake. We enjoyed Kogi BBQ with no earthquake.

My friend in Harmosa Beach told me about it, just a few minutes after it happened. He said he nearly jumped out of his window, but he's kinda skittish anyways.
