Took apart my projector lights just to fix the halo LEDs that cad come loose. So I decided to get rid of the stupid spaceship LEDs too.

So now I have 6 of these lil wedge LEDs:

Any ideas where I could use them to replace some stock regular bulbs?

Hmmm yes those could work, gonna have to try that... The LEDs themselves are too big to use for the AC controls, sadly (they're pretty powerful, cast an almost usable amount of light when they were in the headlights)

position lights in the headlights

On stock headlights yeah but I have the projector ones, different story...

I like the suggestion of the running light type illumination in the headlights. You could wire them together and use them as a dome light as well...

These also work for the side blinkers. Or you can try to sell them.

Yep, those two solutions tempt me most

don't use them for side markers. they will only be very visible at 90degrees, and barely at other angles.

Unless you have MANY LED's, using them for reverse lights will only be detrimental. Trust me, my friend works with LED's, and his reverse lights are LED's. Looks good, but does not illuminate the road very well.

Only places (for the sedan at least) that accept these wedge/194 types are the map lights, license plate lights, and the trunk. OR you can send them to me, I owe my gf two for taking back the ones I bought her for her map lights . What, I bought her the dome lights and a sub. LOL.

make puddle lamps for the car ;) I think it would bring out a nice high-class feature to the yaris.

I second puddle lamps, That's what I planned to do later. I would have the puddle lamp wired to the dome so that when the doors are open the led lights up and turns off when alarm is armed. Also did you figure out what kind of LED the Halo lights use?

^I had the same idea!! maybe we can work on this and come up with the best. I heard that some halo's are made out of the cold cathode lights.

Hmm good idea, drill a small hole on the bottom of the side mirrors... though passing wires through the door jamb is a bit PITA

The halos use two little tiny LEDs each, even smaller than regular 3mm ones, definitely room for improvement...

that's a 194 bulb...you can use it just about anywhere on just about any car.

specially license plates, blinkers, older dashes and shifters, turn signals...the list goes on. i'd keep them...and if you get an old jeep or something put them in there...lighting sux in older cars

or if you're throwing them away ship them out to me...i'll use them in my jeep or camaro.
