Tach Illumination wire

Where can I hook up my white illumination wire. I heard its not good to hook it up to the dimmer wire.

If you don't mind it not dimming you can hook it up to the parking lights so that it's only on when your lights are. Pin 29 - green wire.

Also, what is a good subsitution for the power wire cause I don't trust running a wire from the fuse box.

The blue colored square in the junction diagram is where I pulled the switched 12v.
