i have yaris TS 1.5 (2002) and interior looks like that: http://images.avto.net/2716970/6_530.jpg
my stock radio died and ive decided to replace it with non-stock one (cos they are cheaper, better etc). ive been trying to get cover that enables me to have non-stock radio, but unsuccessfuly. there are 2 types of covers (sold on some germans sites ive been looking on), one is for old model and one for new. neither of these fits into my yaris. could anyone help me here and direct what to do? or maybe where to buy the cover that would fit into?
thanks

it may not be called a yaris in the US but i'm sure you could try www.bestbuy.com or www.crutchfield.com and have them ship you something. i think they were called echo in the US

no.
he needs a trim kit, just like the US integrated radio. unfortunately, i do not have the part number for it.
after you get the trim, well, you may also need the kit as severous01 said.

It looks like the US 2002 echos used a radio similar to our current Yaris radios (20mm wider than standard double DIN).

The part number for the US trim is: 55406-52010-B2
To mount a standard radio, you would also need a kit like the Metra:
Double DIN radio: Metra 95-8202
Single DIN radio: Metra 99-8201

I'm not sure about where in Europe you might be able to order it, but I see that TRDSparks.com (http://www.trdsparks.com/) lists it for $49. They show the part number I listed as being superseded by 55406-52010-C0.

55406-52010-C0 is the original part right? so i might get it from official toyota dealer in my country.
ive already ordered Metra 99-8201. it was kinda hard, bcos most of USA shops dont ship anywhere except USA.
