the interior room of sedan and hatch have been discussed but how does it fare up to the xB?

This isnt an XB forum ... is it? The xB is a totally different car .... different market .... no comparison to the Yaris in my opinion? We dont get them in AUstralia , so how is the xB priceed in comparison to the Yaris?

It is only a little more expensive, or a fully loaded Yaris will be about the same as an xB.

Of course the xB has more room than the Yaris. It also weighs more.

yeah, Xa is more like a Matrix, Xb is more like uh... lego car, Element.

The xA is much smaller than the Matrix. The xA is very similar to a 5 door Yaris.
