I can vouch for these roads my buddy lives in Folsom which is another small town near Sacramento like El Dorado Hills. We frequently drive these at 2AM when I go to visit him. They look great at night but the pictures show that they look even better during the day =)
The only problem is that El Dorado Hills is 3 hour drive from San Jose
LOL. I used to drive 2 1/2 hours to go to the meets in Fremont/Milpitus. hahaha.

Rusty's probably still busy with work and his friend's engine swap. I'm sure he'll get around to them sooner or later.

Won't be able to do August 8th since that since that's my last day of summer school. I'll be in SoCal starting the 9th-12th, and the 12th is my birthday, so I'll be busy the whole day.

Hi this is Will from 9thgencorolla and I have been in charge of setting up the Coyote Point BBQ. I should have registered on all the forums invited before but since it takes a lot of time I was lazy and did not do it. Anyways, now I have decided that I should to close up on this deal!
Now that I'm here I'll help organize this event with the little time left. What we need to do now is create a list of who is to attend and then who will bring what food and drink items to this meet. It is a potluck!
Thank You

The Big Bay Area Summer BBQ Meet! August 8th 2009
Hey guys, I think everyone's wondering when the big summer bbq meet is going to be, so I took the liberty of starting this thread so we can try to decide on a date and time. I think we should go back to Coyote Point this year and possibly cruise over to half moon bay again.
Clubs invited are as follows but not limited to: Corolla, Matrix, Celica and Yaris.
REMEMBER:
1) There is a $5 entrance fee to Coyote Point Park!
2) This is a potluck so everyone brings something to the table.
3) The food is limited to Hot Dogs and Hamburgers because the grills will take too long for chicken and steak etc.
(You can bring take out if you wish)
4) 2Way Radios are required for the cruise afterward if you plan to attend.

Post BBQ Cruise
After the BBQ there is an optional cruise to Half Moon Bay, CA. If you are interested in partaking in this activity it is required you bring a 2way radio. These can be purchased relatively cheaply at stores such as Target and Walmart. If you cannot purchase one please ask to borrow one BEFORE the meet. This way someone may be able to lend you one. This has happened in the past before and worked.
Please Review Cruise Guidelines:
