konig helium question?

hi, i'm looking to upgrade my steelies to konig helium 15 inch and i'll probally use my stock 185/60r15 tires is that okay? according to tire sites it's ok and i went on bridge stone site maximum for it is 6.5inch so i guess it might work anyone tried?

another question is i've read some reviews about the helium is it durable? also what is the official load limit? i know the tires have load limits but i know this sounds noob but what about the rim. is it the same as the tires or any site? links will be helpful thanks!!!:thumbup:

You can safely run 185mm tyres on wheel widths 4.5-7.0".

what about the load limit? i've found some used ones, what is important to inspect on them? i'm newbie never bought used before :iono:

I just inspect for any major cracks. And make sure they aren't bent and their aren't any bulges on the outer lip. I'm not sure you really have to worry about any load rating. As long as it fits and there aren't any defects I'd say you're golden.

ok...yaris is one of the lightest cars on the market....i'm sure that ANY load limit on a tire from any company would work fine. with that in mind....if you're still concerned now's the time to do a serious weight redux...

remove ANY trim, plastics, covers, seats, panels, or whatever you dont use...second step is to replace any solid steel piece with an aluminum piece.

third would be to cut every bolt that extends beyond the nut off....believe it or not i lost almost 100lbs of raw steel off my camaro which dropped me down to 2900lbs for a v8 car...pretty good if you ask me. an i was soo into it i even hole-sawed the interior that wasnt structural.

oh i'm not worried about lightening my car just hoping the rims can stand up normal day use like 5 people with trunk filled. =D
