I tried to get 1f8 touch up paint and the only place was the dealer. They would still have to order it. Is there a place other than the dealer to get the paint?

I have the same color, and I tried the dealer touchup pen. Crap didn't even come close to matching my paint, and now I have this bright silver spot on the top of my drivers side fender. Be sure to test it in a area that isn't super visible first.

was that due to paint fade on the original paint? or really actually off?

The paint was only a year old, and the paint pen was a bright silver color, not like the darker bluish hue silver the car actually has.
