Yeah, me too. I am always amazed at how callous some pigs (I can't bring myself to call them "humans" or "people") can be. Jump, indeed.

I think the police need to have ways to deal with this sort of situation which aren't so passive. Maybe a rolling gadget that catches suicides after they jump or something along those lines.

We're going to get a net for the Golden Gate Bridge. But it still won't prevent people from trying suicide some place else, like in front of the train or on the other bridges.

Oh man, I was there and watched it play out! I was there from about 5pm until the end when he decided to come on down with the police. I was literally like 100 ft or so away. Very intense!

It was pretty sickening. Some of the people around me were looking at there watches and literally saying "This is a waste of my time, if he's going to go do it...just do it so I can go home". Disgusting in my opinion.

Not to be callous, but why do you expect random people on the internet or on the street to have respect for someone's life when they don't have enough respect for themselves to keep on living. Life is a gift, and if you can't see that, then fucking jump already. Ok, that was callous, but seriously, lots of people get laid off every day, and don't jump off a bridge

With all due respect, this was not your best comment.
