anybody knows whats the best size for exhaust tip on a yaris LB? im talking the inlet and the outlet. i think the stock exhaust is like a 1 inch but im not sure. please share your idea/info. thanks

The tailpipe on my yaris was about 1.5"
Mine is a clamp/bolt on 3A racing tip "glass packed"
I got it from advanced autoparts on sale and paid like $10...
The outside diameter is 3 1/2" or so with 3" inside diameter and 9" long.

Any clamp on tip of this style would look pretty decent. The guys at advanced autoparts let me slip a few different ones on my car to see what one I liked best and this little one just seemed to be the hot ticket. Not ricy or looking out of place.

that is a very HOT looking exhaust tip and you only paid 10 bucks for it? :eek: i think this might just be the one that im looking for :biggrin:

so did you order it online or they have dealers here in canada (vancouver)? and was it easy to install them?

Very easy to install, just slip it over the tail pipe and tighten the 3 bolts to clamp the tip onto the pipe. (2 minutes)

I bought min in the US from "advanced auto parts" when it was on sale, regular price is like $20 but it's still a lot cheaper then the TRD/Toyota $60 tip.

I once worked for MBRP years ago when they has their shop in Elmsdale Ontario and the 3A tip is very similar to their best seller style. I loved that style a was happy I found one under $50

so thats the link to the tip you have? how long did it take for the tip to arrive after you placed an order? and it will ship to canada right? how much was the shipping? sorry for all the questions haha

i belive he baught his tip local, but as for the size of the tip, it really will make no difference, aslong as it fits over your existring tail pipe :)

No they are just pics of what the tip looks like, i'm not 100% sure if that is the exact same tip I have or not in the link. It looks identical though.


I did not order mine online, I bought it direct from the store. The store even let me slip a few different styles on the pipe to see what looked best before I bought one

ohh icic. did you go down to the store in US or there are stores in canada too? im scared to buy something that might not look good :redface: thats why i want some reference to products.

so i got my windows tinted today and next on my list is the exhaust tip. im still trying to find one.
