No throttle response

3 times in the last month the Check engine light has come on in my 08 sedan and there is no throttle response,after turning off the engine for a few minutes the throttle appears normal again and the car responds normally but the engine light remains on for another couple of hours before going out.Any one have any ideas as to whats failing?
Code on Scangauge reads P0121. and is this something thats repairable under warantee.

It should be covered by warranty. It is a throttle pedal sensor switch "A" circuit range/performance.
