I was wondering if anyone else with a HB could hear the gas swish around their fuel tank after they filled up at the pump? I especially hear it during shifts.

No. I am out of gas and stuck by the side of the road. And some funny little man with glasses is leering at me ... ohh.

put it this way...it's 11 gallons of fluid swishing around in a thin steel tank like three feet behind you...it's perfectly normal to hear it if you try.

Actually the tank is mad out of plastic on our cars. Makes it extra durable incase of fire. Designed to melt and extinguise any nearby flames.

I hear it too. Try driving a Cobalt; it sounds like you're driving with a water cooler in your back seat.

i make A LOT of starts and stops with my job and sometimes i will notice that 'swishing' noise. i haven't removed anything in the back of my liftback, but i don't really ever use the radio either. it's perfectly normal!
