ok Gents, so I found a perfect location, Cochituate State Park and here's the link to it:

there's plenty of parking (if we get there early), also spots for GRILLING:evil:, there's also SWIMMING:eek: in the lake:thumbsup:, boat and kayak rentals, picnic areas:drool:, etc, also for the ladies, the Natick mall is right down the st from there, the only downside is that there's a US$5.00 parking fee however is for the whole day tho, if we all agree on this let me know, we can set a date we can all make it to, just let me know what you think...

start around 9 or 10am July 12th

There will be GRILLING, BYOM (bring your own meat lol)

Actually Tiny, the 2.5 hours would be about the same unless I can find a spot in Portland where we can grill, which is doubtful.

Heh! Not too far away from the old Artisan College/Rockport ApprenticeShop/Whatever it was called last. I had some good friends there, and they built one of my boats for a guy from Westport, MA.

okay, so it looks like the 6th or 7th would be best, but if you guys cant do it then then the 21st would work too, im working out a location, we can definitely grill at the address above, however space is limited, if 7+ are coming, then there is a public landing on the ocean we can go to, however we cannot cook there.

So as of right now, you guys decide Saturday 6th or Sunday 7th, or Sunday 21st. Ill shoot for Noontime

just a quick note, how about the Cabelas parking lot at ext 43, i think this is the right exit. Lots of space not limited to numbers and I'm sure we can bbq in the lot. Besides we can go shopping at cabelas, lol.

we have room for probably 4-yaris in my driveway .. maybe 6 if we packed em. and the neighbor has a large driveway that could fit some of us too.. do we have a count on how many?

sorry i didnt chime in sooner. we've been working like crazy to make up for the rain days (landscaping) and i still have screen printing to do at night.. lol its bee n busy :)


we have a fairly good sized deck with a big grill could make for a fun time :)

i'll post back in a day or so after chatting it over with the wife to make sure shes onboard :)

well the only thing is that usually more than 8 show up which is great so I don't know if space limitations will be an issue, tiny how far are you from that exit 43?, maybe we can do it there instead, as long as is ok with the plaza/place, either way Cruz-gsr and me are going to whatever location as long as we do it on the 21st.

you know there's a state park here in natick that I can look into, there enough parking, is right next to the lake in case someone wants to go for a swim, there's canoe rentals, there's little grill stations and a few more things, I can see if I can look into things, the only down size is that there's US$5.00 parking fee for the whole day but considering is a extremely comfortable location it's not bad... I'll find out sometime this week and let you guys know...

Meet at 10:30 at Auburn Mall. Leave for Mohegan at 11:15. The mall is near the intersection of 90 and 395, a good place to meet if you are heading to the Spring Bash. See Spring Bash site for pre meet drive details, location, etc. Who else is in?

well tiny, I don't know if we're having it that day, I have a great location and so far only poorsha has responded, we need to set a new date so everyone can make it, I also need to know the date so I can talk to the caretaker of the park and let them know the date and the how many of us are going so we can have a BBQ spot clear...
