The pictures don't do them justice. The blue really pops.

I'll have them on as soon as my lugs come in.

Option feather weight.

feather weight? How much do they weigh?

SIPNGAS

I don't think they're that "light"...15 pounds each. That's heavy, isn't it? I really don't know.

Hmm. Sounds light to me. I thought factory ones were somewhere in the 20's??

15" stock steel wheels and tires 33lb each.

From: http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3176&highlight=weight+wheels

So around 17ish lbs I guess.

Really? Interesting...so, will the lighter wheels cause my MPGs to go up slightly?

staticorex
05-15-2009, 11:13 PM
Should. Though 2lbs x 4 = <10lbs. I guess the tires will be the deciding factor.

yes, less rotating mass equals quicker acceleration and a decrease in opposing inertial forces...better mileage too :)

Nice wheels Lisa!

Oh! I read your post wrong. I thought it said just the steelies were 33 pounds each.:biggrin:

you going to get some blue nuts as well?

SIPNGAS

you going to get some blue nuts as well?

No, I think I'm going to stick with black. The blue on the rims is almost a purple-blue....I think the blue lugs are more of a blazing blue.

Remember I was telling you I was happy I didn't already purchase the blue lugs because the blue on the rims was on the purple side? Maybe the color-changing thing is valid and I'm not imagining it here in the house.

They're 15's and my car is lowered on DF210's.

Aluminum? We can't use those around here, not without damage from potholes.

Good on you, Lisa!

They're Alloy...

Stupid places around here and no lugs. I'm ordering them today and will get the wheels put on next Saturday. :o/ Don't they know summer is almost over here already?

We have lots of potholes, too. I've already been scoping out more pothole-less routes to my favorite places. Otherwise, I'll be doing some hole dodging whle driving.

the blue changes to other colors depending on your mood. It's like a mood ring.

no one around there has lugs? 12x1.5 is only the most common lug nuts.... fit almost every GM car, Toyota's, Honda's, Ford cars, older Chrysler cars

Not black ones. They could only find chrome.
