What does "tiltshift" mean?
Tiltshift refers to a type of photography that makes things look miniature or "toy" like. I was just playin around with some software to make these.

Thanks for the link, Garm! I think the secret is to find the right photo to make it look like a toy in a staged setting. I just tried an action autox one and it did not look so good. Also having people in the picture did not help.

What does "tiltshift" mean?
It's actually the "Scheimpflug" principle, or effect. Has long been known and used with or monorail cameras and others capable of tilting the lens (the "shift" part isn't totally necessary.)

You don't need Photoshop. See post #5, that's how I did mine.

I need to take some pics of Sprocket where it is centered in the photo, but there is a lot of distance in the background. That seems to be the best format for doing this, which is really cool!
