Does anyone have a contact at a VW dealership parts department? Doesn't matter what state, I just need to obtain some info on a part from someone that actaully knows what they are doing, not just an idiot that got stuck behind a counter.

Thanks:thumbsup:

I have a friend who works at a GM dealership but is obsessed with VW's (and has two old VW Beetles), if that helps you. I could get you his number.

Not sure what your question is going to be, lol.

Well I mean the dealers have that software that has virtually all cars/parts. Forget what it's called.

Called ETKA. Used to have the CDs for "up to 2000" (Yes, including all early models), and for 2001-2005. Really handy for exploded diagrams so you could put things back how they came apart (rather than by guesswork). Sadly, I passed them on....
