View Full Version : 17" Ray's Foundry rims with Falken tires - LIKE NEW
Looking to sell my 4 lug universal (4x100, 4x114.3) 17x7 +42 offset Ray's Foundry G-games 77W wheels with like-new (80%+ tread) 205/45R-17 Falken Z-512 tires. Silver with a polished lip. They weigh 17 lbs. each.
There is small curb rash on one of the passenger-side wheels (as pictured), otherwise they are in PRISTINE condition. All of the tiny specs in the pics are just dirt.
Will sell my set for $650 OBO (Rims+tires were $2,850 from tirerack.com when purchased in Summer '08.)
Will travel within 100 miles for a small fee, located in Dover, Ohio.

This IS a great deal. If I didn't already have my Blitz's, I'd jump on these.
Bump for a good seller!

Thanks for the bumps guys!
These will make one Yaris owner very happy, they're awesome wheels.
I can't force who is going to buy it. I'm not biased to only Yaris's, lol.

post it on CL or check for a local honda forum
i sold my orange set of wheels to a scion owner on a local honda forum lol
I have them on CL and on ToyotaNation as well. Can't post on ScionLife or a Honda forum because of the 'must have 50 posts' rule.

Why would you put entry level low cost tires on a higher end rim ? That may be holding up the sale.
Just because it's a "lower price" (was like $126 per tire?) tire, doesn't mean it's a lower quality.
The Falken Z512 was tested by Consumer Reports and received first place compared to several other all-seasons (http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/search.htm?header_health_search.x=20&header_health_search.y=19&query=falken)
They also rated Falken as the #1 "Ultra-high performance tire" out of any tire manufacturer.
A few Falken Ziex 512 "pluses"
- 360 Treadwear
- 30,000 Mileage Warranty
- Very Lightweight when compared to other tires of the same size
- Low price compared to other brands
- Great wet and dry performance

what wheel did you end up getting?
So far still deciding.. Just know the tire I want.
I'm about back at the Konig Rewinds.. just can't beat the price/weight, and I love the look.

oh yeah? what's that?

Kumho Ecsta AST is what I'm thinking. Higher performance and still an all-season.

Ryan,
update on my AST's
not the best tire at high speeds, granted i'm also 225 50 15 so i have a decent amount of contact patch, but the sidewalls are a bit "floaty" compared to my hankooks previously. but for an all season tire it's not bad. a little slippery in the rain though, but manageable.
^ Thanks for the update. I still haven't ordered mine so I'll look into some tires a little more.

i'd recommend the ASX over the AST, i LOVED my ASX, and am putting them on my gf's 325XI AWD shaggin wagon

"shaggin wagon" LOL nice
aside from the horrible lack of power, that's one of the best handling cars (for it's size) that i've ever driven in street trim.
Bump, make offers. I will ship.
