It just so happens that I'll be at the shop today prepping for, if not actually installing, my Autoppage RS1000 alarm...

While I'm not familiar with the ideosynchracies of the Yaris in an alarm install yet, I have good people around me that know a hell of a lot more than I do...

With that being said, I can have them look at the questions you have about the install if you'd like. So, throw some questions my way and I'll see if I can answer them.

thanks sqcomp,

I need the wiring guidance for the specific alarm if it's possible so I can save a little $$ for another project .

I search a couple diy alarm/ remote install on the forum, but I just want to double check beforehand.

thanks a lot.

I think I can get you the diagrams...

Give me a couple hours or so.

I'm going to assume you have an... 09 3 door?

This may also help for right now:

I installed an UltraStart remote starter and a in my 09 5 door (and we put a Valet in SodiumDuck's 08 3 door at the same time). I was going to put together a DIY, but never got around to it. My 09 had the engine immobilizer, so I use the Fortin KEY-OVERRIDE-SL2 transponder key bypass module (which doesn't require a sacrificial key).

Let me know if you have any questions.

Here are a couple of threads with info:

Green is lock, blue is unlock. They require positive pulses and typically draw too much current to drive directly from a remote starter/keyless entry system.

Here's an example of wiring for them. The lock and unlock pulse connections would go to the appropriate terminals of the remote starter/keyless entry system.
