Need HID Help!

I'm a total n00b when it comes to all things HID so forgive my ignorance. I'm looking to purchase one of the kits from Xenon-Vision, but I have a few questions before I dive in.

1. What's the difference between the xenon & bi-xenon kits in terms of quality and install procedure?
2. Will I lose my high beam indicator with either kit?
3. Do I need the flicker relay or battery relay that can be purchased with the hi/low ($120) or fog light kit?
4. Will I lose my fog lights with either kit?
5. Do I need to disable DRL?
6. Is there any difference in the way these operate from the OEM? Or just turn the headlight switch and you have brighter lights?

Any help/advice would be appreciated

Great list of questions. I am looking for the same sort of answers but every single time I turn around either somebody gives a different answer or there is a different issue. I essentially want a bi-xenon (as it appears to disperse the light better so far as I have read), while retaining my DRL module. Now...I don't care so much if the DRLs work or not as long as it's not hurting the car but I want to retain my fog lights and I would also like to retain my high beam signal in the instrument cluster.

According to Phu from Xenon Vision, the bi-xenon kit will automatically disable the DRL without you having to unplug the relay or do anything else. He also said that, because of the way the bi xenon kit is wired, you will lose the high beam dash indicator. He didn't mention anything about the fog lights not working after installing the bi-xenon headlight kit.

Agreed...he stated the same thing to me. Now what about all of this flickering and inconsistent lighting?? Xenon-Vision claims plug-n-play without the need for a harness as far as I know. Is the "anti-flicker" harness a requirement?

I asked him about that too and was told it is not necessary on the Yaris since there is no known issue with flickering. I guess whoever's having a flickering problem either has it wired wrong or maybe it's just a fluke. I figure I'll install it without the 'anti-flicker harness' at first, since I can always just purchase and install it later if I have a flickering problem.

Agreed in those regards but I'd rather do it once and not have mess around with it once set up.

Just received this message from Phu: "The fog light will work fine with the bi-xenon kit. The bi-xenon kit doesn't disable the DRL, it just that the DRL doesn't turn on with the bi-xenon kit."

I think that I might jump for the bi-xenons. I will be very disappointed if I install them and need an anti-flicker harness though.

I'm going for the bi-xenons as well... and ditto on the harness. Although, if you look at the website, it doesn't show the 'anti-flicker harness' as an add-on for the bi-xenon kit. The page for the regular HID conversion shows the anti-flicker harness, battery relay harness, & slim ballast as 'upgrades' while the bi-xenon kit only lists the slim ballast as an 'upgrade'.
