KSport springs too soft, need stiffer

I have Ksport coilovers on my car right now and the spring rates are way too soft for my drop and as such I rub all over the place. Off the shelf spring rates are:(in kg/lbs)

Front: 4/224
Rear: 2.2/123

Ksport rep on the phone said he can sell me front springs at 6 or 7 kg but is unsure of the rear new springs are $40 a piece. I'm mostly concerned about the front. Anyone know where I can get stiffer front and/or rear springs from? Loren I remember you swapped your rears out but I don't remember you saying from where.

Almost flush with the top of the tire in the front and a one finger gap in the rear. Please don't suggest raising the car, because I'm not.

I swapped my rears for some Tein springs I had on the shelf, not a perfect fit, but it works well enough for me.

Looking at the photo, your front tires are going to rub no matter what. I won't bother suggesting that you raise the front an inch... but that's what you need to do.

You have less than 1/2" of clearance before the tire rubs. To prevent that with spring rate, you'd need enough rate to keep the added weight of at least .9 G on that corner from blowing through your 1/2". The car weighs about 2500 lbs with you in it, 60% of that is in the front, divide by two... that's 750 lbs on each front corner. 90% of that (.9 G) is 675 lbs. 675 lbs/half inch = 1350 lbs/in or about 24kg/mm. Good luck with that.

You could go full stiff on the front shocks, that will greatly limit their movement under most circumstances. It won't be comfortable... but neither would 24kg springs.

You might try a little more negative camber in front to get the tire more inside the front fender. You'll probably still rub the fender liner, but it will wear through in short order.

I don't have much fender liner left and at this point lol. As for the rubbing, now that I have such little liner left its actually not aall that bad and I've pretty much gotten used to the rubbing that occurs on certain turns. But, the car still sways too much for my taste so I'm hoping a little more spring rate + turning the shocks a turn or two will get me where I want to be.

What car did you Teins come off of?

Get a bigger rear swaybar and run the shocks as stiff as necessary to eliminate the body roll. They will do it.

The Teins springs on the rear of my car are from a Miata Tein Flex kit. The rates were what I wanted, but the springs are physically not at all "correct" for the rear of the Yaris. They make all kinds of noise back there scraping against the adjustable perch and banging and clanging, but they get the job done.

Between my original post and last week, I made a few twists toward stiff on the coilovers both front and back...made a significant difference. I was definitely underdamped. The car is a lot more stable in turns and takes bumps in the road with a lot better composure. I'd still like to update the springs though, here's what I got from Ksport:

Front: 11.5-205, 7.5kg or 11.5-180, 8.7kg
Rear: 12.5-65-73.5-180, 4.5kg
