Naaah, it's not mine. I just saw this on my way home from work yesterday. This really isn't a good season for Yarii.

That's an 09. Nothing like wrecking a new car...

Mine had almost the exact same type of damage after my collision with a color-blind out-of-towner that ran a red light. That happened within 4 or 5 weeks having the car.

I feel for whomever this belongs to.

Hmmm... The red ones do seem to have a "target acquisition" problem. That's why my new one was requested "any colour but red".
Emmanna, if you're reading this, my sympathies.

I wonder if the Ford truck was involved in the accident?

This is getting SCARY! One of the reasons I bought a red one is so it would stand out more aka "not get hit".

That is the same reason why I choose red too.

That's what I thought, too. However, I have a history of trouble with red cars.

1970-something Renault 4 - rear-ended and totalled in the UK.
1998 Honda Accord wagon - took a 6: rock through the nose at 120 mph closing speed - not funny. $1000 to "fix" but never ran right or could shut the hood afterwards.
2007 Red Yaris HB. Broadside by Toyota van - totalled.

My oldest kid has also taken out 3 red cars. We are no longer allowed that colour....

My last ride was a 2003 Saturn Ion. I got rear-ended at 35mph and they totaled it. Thats why my Yaris is yellow :)

white is the lowest of course, weird

I wonder if the Ford truck was involved in the accident?

I would think so, since they're on the same tow truck. Kinda funny, seeing how little damage trucks and suv's take when hitting smaller cars.

I have a 3 dr blue, and I have to stop all the time for people pulling out in front of me, and I have to flash my brake lights at people sometimes cause they don't seem to be stopping in time. I have heard several people squeal tires to stop behind me, and several cars not even look in my direction in front of me. I have had 4 seriously close calls in my car, including a scratch on my rear bumper, and both mirrors pushed into the car (they fold in, luckily) and the other driver appoligizing over and over, "I didn't see you! I am so sorry!". It's just a small car.

I think people just ignore the fact I'm on the road ... I got rear ended in the middle of January last year (the car wasn't even a full year old) in RUSH HOUR traffic, while EVERYONE except the 17 year old on her cell phone was at a stop. She slammed right in to me. Lucky for me, it was like -30 that morning so my bumper shattered.

You can't even tell it got hit now, I went to one of the most expensive body shops in Minnesota. :)

I feel bad for our poor little cars ... people just ignore them and slam into them constantly!

I HAVE Silver Star headlights, and people flash their brights at me, and I flash them right back. Ticks people off at night. But for some reason durning the day they are invisible... good to know my cloaking devise works on my car. Not sure how to turn it off though.
